Market and Industry Intelligence analyst

Key Responsibilities

▪Develop and improve analytical models to support accurate market and demand forecasting using sound logic, assumptions, and robust methodologies
▪Collect, track, and analyze relevant market and industry information to support demand forecasts across key end-market applications
▪Develop and maintain external market research sources and industry relationships to monitor trends and provide insights, in compliance with company policies
▪Communicate with corporate, business, and regional stakeholders to provide timely market insights and analysis
▪Support ad-hoc business analyses to inform demand outlooks and business planning decisions

Experiences/Education

▪Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline; MBA preferred but not required
▪1~3 years of experiences in market analysis, strategy, project management, and other analytical functions within consulting, finance, high-tech, manufacturing or B2B industries

Required Skills
▪Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking; comfortable working with large data sets; able to distill data into key insights; Detail-oriented and data savvy
▪Experience researching technology-related markets and value chains, from upstream suppliers to end-market demand drivers
▪Project management, including superior problem-solving skills
▪Outstanding presentation and communication skills (verbal, written & presentation in both English and Chinese)
▪Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and translate them into business implications and actionable recommendations. Strong technical and market curiosity preferred
▪Independent self-starter, taking initiative to resolve issues and identify opportunities
▪Business and financial acumen
