Position Description |
Purpose of the Position:
- Understand customer cover glass brand promotion needs to inform attractive commercial offer and effective engagement strategy
- Give GG a competitive edge to mitigate gross margin erosion
- Maximize the benefits of digital toolkit to streamline commercial operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate key account branding/marketing promotion requests and maintain a master marketing calendar with key year round events
- Act as the interface to coordinate support needed from Marcomm & commercial teams
- Generate consumer insights via account team reports & market research refresh
- Be the go-to-person to maintain product demo & promotional material
- Streamline misc. business processes via digital tools (e.g. Salesforce, PBI) & drive implementation with support from PMO team and account team leaders
Education & Experience |
- At least 2 years experience with B2B product marketing, preferably in the upstream consumer electronics industry
- Demonstrate experience with creating business value via different marketing activities
- Experience with streamlining business processes and driving digital implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Branding, Market Communication or related fields
Required Skills |
- Interests and experience with B2B product marketing
- Knowledge about consumer electronics industry and its value chain
- Ability to understand customer needs, pain points and translate into effective marketing ideas
- Ability to team work, influence cross functionally and drive coordination and collaboration
- Understanding of Salesforce and PBI as a platform
- Proficiency in business English writing and speaking
Desired Skills |
- Direct experience participating in marketing promotion in the consumer electronics industry
- Understanding of the B2B commercial processes and ability to articulate business needs to IT
- Ability/experience generating marketing leads that has the potential to turn into incremental business revenue
- Ability to drive adoption of enhanced system, including usage tracking and identify areas for improvement
- Effective presentation skills (PowerPoint, word, excel)
