Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

• Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Administrative (40%)

      • Attendance Management: Monitor and manage employee attendance records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
      • Travel Management: Manage the AMEX travel system, including overseeing travel arrangements, reconciling billing statements, and completing PR (Purchase Request) forms.
      • General Administrative Support: Perform other administrative tasks as needed to maintain smooth office operations, including documentation, office supply management, and vendor coordination.

    Human Resources (60%)

      • Onboarding Process Support: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.
      • New Employee Orientation: Organize and facilitate orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company culture, policies, and procedures.
      • Talent Development: Participate in the design and implementation of talent development programs, fostering employee growth and career progression
      • C&B: Support basic tasks related to C&B administration, ensuring employee satisfaction and compliance with regulations.
      • EVP Promotion: Actively contribute to initiatives that promote the company’s EVP, enhancing employer branding and employee engagement.
      • Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good English Speaking

Desired Skills

  • Major in Human Resources or related field is a plus
  • Knowledge of HR practices, such as hiring, C&B, talent development, is a plus.
