Day to Day Responsibilities:


  • Collaborates with SBD managers with data-based market entry / market expansion / investment / M&A strategies for a variety of Corning businesses in China, in conjunction with the concerned divisions
  • Conduct market sizing, competitor benchmark, customer & technology trend analysis and demonstrate potential to lead projects independently
  • Communicate and advise cross functional team and senior management within the various divisions and Corning China
  • Work with business divisions to deploy the strategies that are developed
  • Identify short term incremental sales/cost reduction opportunities for Corning businesses in China
  • Work in partnership with China-based sales teams to develop customer interaction plans, distributor incentives, and other tactical commercial initiatives
  • Collaborate with technology community and/or business divisions to devise strategy for potential technology commercialization and new business development in the region


Education & Experience  

  • China and/or Asia working experience with proven track record (3 years + for analyst)
  • Experience working with multinational companies in a strategy development or strategy process management function


Required Skills   

  • Strong analytic/problem-solving skills with experience in dealing with complex business issues
  • A good combination of strategic thinking and operational execution
  • Capable of senior management communication & engagement
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing project & people
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English


Desired Skills  


  • Professional experience in a top-tier management consulting firm (2-3 years for analyst)
  • Experience in the consumer electronics, telecommunication, new energy or automotive industries
  • Undergraduate / Graduate degree focused on a technical area of study
