Purpose of the Position: This position will support the Corning Life Sciences Supply Chain Planning and Operations processes, and lead on supply chain data analytics and develop, manage, and communicate reporting and analytics critical to the supply chain organization. The Supply Chain Analyst will provide actionable insights, analysis and proposal for decision making to reduce supply chain cost and improve service. This role is critical to execute CLS supply chain transformation strategy, analyze the root causes and drivers to identify optimization opportunities and implement to reduce inventory while improving service. This role will require sophisticated analysis and data modelling along with the optimization and automation of reporting tools to improve operational efficiency and supply chain visibility. This role will take the lead to report operational KPIs for the end-to-end supply chain, analyze and identify gaps and support executing identified solutions and optimized business processes.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance supply chain analytics, models, and decision support tools for supply planning

• Proactively monitor, manage, and follow-up on potential business impact risks and provide preferred solutions, which enhance business performance • Undertake analysis and modelling to support Supply Chain performance

• Analyze cost savings opportunities • Analyze root cause on service and performance issues, and implement corrective action

• Responsible to inform the stakeholders on key metrics, reports and analysis which will support Supply Chain Performance

• Maintain current knowledge on data analytics best practices. Develop and utilize linkages with other Corning business and corporate on data analytics best practices.

• Update master data, KPI and analysis reporting on a regular level, and automate reporting tool with training to improve reporting efficiency and effectiveness • Implement and document standard procedures and propose and/or implement improvements. • Be an active member of cross-functional teams focused on process improvement, cost reduction and supply chain issue resolution • Establish and lead a culture focused on customers, quality, service and cost with continuous improvement • Ensure clear articulation of priorities, targets, metrics and accountabilities to the cross functional team. • Drive operational excellence with focus on process management and the use of performance excellence tools • Work effectively across the entire global supply chain organization and ensure alignment and standardization of metrics and reporting in all regions and locations. • Communicate performance metrics effectively across the organization. Effectively utilize the division Business Information system (BI Tool) to share data, reports and intelligence.
