Role Purpose
• Lead the Greater China commercial organization to deliver annual revenue and profitability targets while building sustainable, long-term growth.
• Provide overall leadership for Greater China sales, including key-account development, channel marketing, distributor management, and commercial capability building.
• Develop and execute the Greater China business and product strategy, accelerating new-business, new-product, and new-application opportunities in close partnership with Global Product Management and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Leading for results
a) Translate the Greater China business strategy into clear functional priorities, MBOs, and execution plans that deliver financial commitments and long-term strategic objectives.
b) Lead the development and execution of channel and go-to-market strategies; optimize distributor coverage, governance, incentives, and performance management; and build productive, long-term channel partnerships.
c) Lead the Key Account sales organization to develop and execute account strategies, strengthen strategic customer relationships, expand share of wallet, and capture opportunities in emerging market segments.
d) Build commercial excellence across the team, including value-based selling, pricing discipline, portfolio and product-mix optimization, forecasting, and margin improvement.
e) Identify, evaluate, and commercialize new-business, new-product, licensing, and adjacent-technology opportunities that strengthen the company's competitive position and create scalable growth platforms.
f) Own execution of the Greater China product strategy in partnership with Global Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Technical, Quality, Regulatory, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

a) Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial organization spanning key accounts, channel management, and new-business development.
b) Set clear goals, establish accountability, and provide timely coaching and support to achieve business, customer, and organizational objectives.
c) Build a strong talent pipeline through succession planning, capability development, performance management, and selective recruitment.
d) Manage departmental resources, budgets, operating rhythms, and performance standards with strong commercial discipline.
e) Recommend organizational and operating-model changes, subject to approval, to improve customer coverage, speed, and effectiveness.

a) Influence regional, divisional, and global leaders to align strategic priorities, resource allocation, and execution plans.
b) Collaborate effectively across the matrix to resolve complex business issues, accelerate execution, and drive sustainable growth.
c) Continuously improve organizational effectiveness, decision quality, commercial processes, and ways of working.
d) Model the company's values and maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professional conduct in all internal and external interactions.

Experiences/Education - Required
• Education: Bachelor's degree or above in life sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience:
o Minimum 10 years of progressive commercial management experience, prefer in the life sciences industry, with a strong track record in sales leadership and business growth.
o Significant people-management experience leading multi-layered commercial teams, including managers and individual contributors.
o Demonstrated success in key-account management, channel and distributor management, new-business development, and product commercialization within a multinational or matrixed environment.
• Knowledge, Skills:
o Deep understanding of the Greater China life sciences market, customer segments, competitive dynamics, regulatory environment, and industry trends.
o Proven ability to formulate business strategy, translate strategy into execution, and deliver sustained revenue and profit growth.
o Strong business acumen, analytical judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-changing environment.
o Exceptional leadership, communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.
o Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and business-level English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experiences/Education - Desired
• Advanced degree in a life sciences discipline and/or an MBA is preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills:
o Experience working across matrix organizations.
o Demonstrated success in launching new products, developing new markets, and creating scalable growth platforms.
o Proficiency in MS Office applications (EXCEL, Power platform), and other commercial related
software/ platforms.
