Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

 

Major Responsibility  

•    Develops COCC mainland China Enterprise business strategy, objectives, and deployment plan in south region.
•    Leads the business growth to align with OCS & COC global enterprise strategy in south region.
•    Creates and develops contact with existing and potential customers.
•    Identifies new business opportunities to gain a more favorable position in the market, improve profitability or increase market share.
•    Executes COCC EN mainland China business matrix.
•    Develops a network within the industry to aid in the understanding of emerging and unmet requirements and informs management of these industry or market conditions.
•    Conducts briefings and technical meetings for top management and customer representatives.
•    Develops, oversees and directs the subordinates and grows talents.

Performance Evaluation Criteria  

•    Achieve annual sales target and new production introduction objectives.
•    Timely update regional activity monthly plan and execution.
•    Build strong multiple-level relationships with the external customers, document the customer relationship development plan. 

•    Effective ability to secure cooperation of others in getting the job done.
•    Demonstrate capable decision-making ability and follow through on actions.
•    Develop the sales plan and achieve the targets.
•    Manage the team efficiently and keep tracking the team performance/progress.
•    Timely report to supervisor.


Required Competency (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities) 

•    >10 years sales experience in China DC/EN market (not limited to China south)
•    Excellent customer engagement and strong mindset to sell value, 
•    Leadership experience 
•    Good English communication skill
•    Acceptable of high frequency business trip
•    Good teamwork and coordinate skill; drive internal support.
•    Good interpersonal communication skill 
•    Good  presentation skill
•    Good problem-solving skill.
•    Initiative and eager to learn.
