Senior Planner, CSFOC，Shanghai

Role Purpose

Responsible for developing and managing the master production plan to align customer demand, production capacity, and material availability, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient optical fiber and preform manufacturing operations.

Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams, including Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Commercial departments, to develop and execute monthly and annual RSI plans, balancing demand, capacity, and cost to support business objectives.

Develop innovative solutions to complex planning challenges, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage monthly and annual RSI plans to ensure on-time delivery and optimized inventory levels, and responsible for BB/GB planning related work.
• Own master planning for preform and fiber products, including capacity planning and product mix optimization.
• Update RTS capacity based on RSU, equipment availability, and downtime inputs; propose capacity and mix plans aligned with demand forecasts.
• Proactively identify and resolve production planning issues and provide data-driven decision support to management.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain planning activities, including delivery scheduling and raw material purchasing coordination.
• Define order priorities and confirm delivery dates with Commercial and CSR teams based on WIP, capacity, and material availability.
• Monitor order changes, assess impacts, and communicate risks to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Control raw material and finished goods inventory levels; drive actions to reduce slow-moving inventory.
• Analyze planning data and provide regular performance and efficiency management reports.
• Lead planning system and process improvements, including SAP PP module optimization.
• Support new product deployment through planning system and workflow setup.
• Maintain and update master planning procedures and SOPs.
• Perform other work as assigned by manager.

Education & Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Experience in optical fiber or related manufacturing industries, with a background in Supply Chain Management or Production / Operations Management, is preferred
• Supply Chain Management and Production / Operations Management experience
• At least 5 experiences in production planning, master production scheduling (MPS), and material requirements planning (MRP), with master planning experience in related industries

Required Skills

• Knowledge of optical fiber manufacturing processes and APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
• Strong knowledge of master production planning (MPS) and material requirements planning (MRP)
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or above), DMAIC skills
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Effective cross-functional communication and coordination, organization skills (sales, manufacturing, procurement, logistics)
• Ability to work well under pressure and respond to delivery and capacity fluctuations
• Proficient in Excel, SAP and data analysis tools (like as power BI)
• Solid understanding of supply chain management and manufacturing operations
