Day to Day Responsibilities

 

1. Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, sensors and algorithms.

2. Performs designs for electrical/control systems (such as elementary/wiring/cabling drawings)

3. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

4. Develops/provides engineering specifications, acceptance criteria and technical requirements for electrical/control equipment contracting

5. Leads and executes assigned electrical/control projects. Provide technical and project management leadership and supervision to assure safe, timely and economical execution of control/electrical projects

6. Lead/conducts cost estimation for electrical /control projects.

7. Collect and provide accurate electrical/control equipment documentation, such as engineering electrical drawings, program codes, technical sheets of commercial parts

Involves determination of manufacturability of products and improved effectiveness and cost of production processes through determinations regarding: Methods, equipment, algorithm, gauge, sensor, capacity utilization, process/equipment improvements, and process control systems. Involves application of knowledge and methods for fundamental understanding physical phenomena to achieve specified characteristics and criteria for products and processes. Involves innovation and application of advanced technologies for products performance and process effectiveness improvement . Involves organizational health and safety management systems, procedures, and programs.

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Automation or Electronic and Information engineering related fields
  • At least’ 5 years of experience of electrical control system design in manufacturing facilities.
  • Able to program the several brands of PLCs, e. g Rockwell, Beckhoff.
  • Familiar with the E-PLAN to make the schematic.
  • Have basic pneumatic knowledge and be familiar with the working principle of cylinder and valve.
  • Have basic knowledge in the mechanical motion principle, have the strong sense of the relationship of payload, speed and precision.
  • Demonstrated PLC control system design and debugging capability.
  • Good project management skill. Good written and oral English.
  • Willing to travel based on project needs.
  • Experience in machine maintenance is prefer.
  • Open-minded, and with independent thinking. With engineering curiosity and passion.
