Sr. IE Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead industrial engineering projects to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance in manufacturing operations.
• Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement analysis to establish standard cycle times and optimize labor utilization.
• Develop and maintain standard work, work instructions, and operational process flows.
• Analyze production processes and recommend improvements in line balancing, workstation design, material flow, and plant layout.
• Support capacity analysis, manpower planning, and production planning by providing accurate IE data and operational insights.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production processes and implement corrective actions to improve throughput.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other operational excellence methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR to support operational targets.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, efficiency, utilization, labor cost, and OEE.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), process changes, and factory expansion projects from an industrial engineering perspective.
• Develop manpower models and productivity benchmarks to support budgeting and operational planning.
• Lead cost-saving projects and track savings achievements.
• Train and coach supervisors, engineers, and operators on IE tools, methods, and continuous improvement practices.
• Ensure all engineering improvements comply with safety, quality, and company standards.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of time study, motion study, line balancing, capacity planning, layout design, and process optimization.
• Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, VSM, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with production systems, labor productivity analysis, and cost reduction programs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change effectively.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Well understand and master the major environmental and safety factors involved in the department
• Know EHS relevant law and regulations
• Setup and manage function EHS objectives
• Obey all company EHS rules (Include: Policy, Procedure, SOP and other requirements).

Desired Skills

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
• Experience with digitalization, performance dashboards, or manufacturing systems is a plus.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
