Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Key focused R&R and How this internship supports business objectives:
This internship will provide focused analytical capability to support procurement and cost programs through:
1.    Monitoring key material price trend in a timely manner 
2.    Leverage AI and Digital tool to develop inhouse platform and database
3.    Using AI and digital tools for cleansing current data in terms of L2~L4 category classification, to support Cost Management team in DPO management
4.    Support Cost Team in developing Portfolio management tool
 
The scope is well suited for a short term, project based internship requiring strong analytical skills, familiarity with material science and/or commercial concepts, and comfort using digital and AI based analytical tools. This approach provides high value at low cost while enabling knowledge development in advanced market intelligence methods and cost Portfolio.
