Day to Day Responsibilities:
•    Develop and execute supply and inventory planning strategy as well as CLS 
•    supply chain strategies in Asia. 
•    Effectively monitor and control inventory level, take effective actions to reach 
•    inventory turn/reduction target under ensurance of service level. 
•    Optimize safety stock level, develop supply planning dashboard, manage 
•    performance to required targets, and proactively communicate key metrics with 
•    stakeholders within Corning 
•    Collaborate across supply chain and interface with key stakeholders to 
•    effectively manage finished goods inventory and safety stock. 
•    Collaborate with manufacturing to define and execute supply and inventory 
•    planning, Master Production Scheduling and lead monthly supply planning 
•    review 
•    Closely monitor/update production activities, routing maintenance, production 
•    capacities, ensure MPS and capacity requirement planning running on accurate 
•    data 
•    Develop and implement integrated planning processes, optimize standard 
•    operating procedures and fulfill customer demand in time 
•    Benchmark with best inventory planning practices within and outside Corning 
•    for continuous improvement 
•    Lead and facilitate all phases ofthe monthly SIOP meetings and process to 
•    balance supply and demand. 
•    Analyze data(demand/ capacity/inventory) with gap identification and proposal 
•    to leadership team, and take proactive actions to close gap

Requirements:
•    Bachelor degree or above in supply chain, industry, technical, math or IT. 
•    Minimum of 10 years experience in supply chain planning with minimum 
•    demonstrated production planning hands on experience in international 
•    company with manufacturing environment 
•    Master planner or key user experience and skills with ERP (PeopleSoft or SAP) 
•    Clear and deep dive understanding of MRP, demand planning process, supply 
•    planning process, S&OP process and inventory v.s. service control 
•    methodologies. 
•    Demonstrated experience and skills of production planning, master production 
•    scheduling, production activities control, inventory control/reduction, demand 
•    forecasting and forecast accuracy improvement 
•    Lean, 6 Sigma/DMAlC, project management experience/skills in planning, 
•    logistics, business process improvement, customer satisfaction improvement. Be 
•    process and data oriented. Be able to establish/design, implement and measure 
•    process effectively 
•    Excellent knowledge andk skills of Microsoft office suite (Excel, PPT and Access, 
•    etc)and Power BI 
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, be able to interface with 
•    leaderships, internal & external customers at all levels and international 
•    colleagues( customer focused, enabling, engaging) in matrix organization. 
•    Ability to work/build relationships in multi-cultural and matrix organization, 
•    especially with commercial, manufacturing, finance and division cupply chain. 
•    Proactive problem solving, ability to effectively deal with multi-tasks, ambiguity, 
•    initiative for problem solving 
•    Ability to set and communicate priorities and work in a dynamic business 
•    environment 
•    Excellent change management skills and ability to understand the impact of 
•    change 
•    Good verbal and written language skills in Chinese and English
