The Specialty Materials segment manufactures products that provide more than 150 material formulations for glass, glass ceramics and fluoride crystals to meet demand for unique customer needs. Consequently, this segment operates in a wide variety of commercial and industrial markets that include display optics and components, semiconductor optics components, aerospace and defense, astronomy, ophthalmic products, telecommunications components and cover glass that is optimized for portable display devices.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • To manage the business sales of Gorilla Glass and parts to meet annual sales budget
  • Develop, maintain and improve multi-level and multi-function customer relations and execute overall division and commercial strategies
  • Secure our business with Finishers/TPMs through various tools
  • Work closely with OEM sales team to win glass and parts business;
  • Win parts business by actively working with cross function team (Application Engineer, Quality, operation, supply chain and Production Line)
  • To collect monthly forecast from Finishers and TPMs and reconcile the numbers with OEM AM to ensure optimized supply;
  • Collect and report market information including competitive intelligence;

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor degree with Science or Engineering;
  • 5+ years working experience with 3+ years in electronics industry such as LCD/Touch Panel/Cover Glass/Mobile Phone business
  • Good communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • Good sales experience with tracking record
  • Problem solving skill and analytical skills

 

Travel Requirements: Max 30%
