Major Responsibilities:

  • Role will be focused on strategy and product initiatives, working closely with our account managers and executing business strategies relevant to China
  • Role will serve as the critical bridge between our Product Strategy and Commercial teams to enhance execution of our Business Deliverables
  • Accountable for delivering current and future business priorities such as China West (CQ), developing $/device metric
  • Develop deep understanding of the customers’ products systems and how they impact our product’s specs and value proposition.
  • Train account team on key product attributes and assist as necessary to create customer specific selling decks.
  • Act as focal point and work closely with global PLM team to ensure smooth roll out of new glass locally.
  • Work with manufacturing to find opportunities to reduce complexity and cost reduction in the manufacturing process
  • Engage, as needed, in supply chain disruption issues to influence or make decisions on global order and development/manufacturing prioritization
  • Support the development of pricing strategy based on cost analysis (e.g. materials, processes), value analysis and shareholder needs
  • Develop processes and standard methodologies for running the product line category。
  • Liaison with GGS PLM team to co-develop product strategy, value proposition and business growth plan for China region. 

Education & Experience

  • We require a Bachelor’s degree in business or science or equivalent, MBA, Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent desired
  • We are seeking 5+ years of experience in customer facing roles (e.g. account manager, application engineer, commercial technology or product line management) in a business approximately > $50M annual revenues. Preference: manufacturing or innovation program experience; 3+ years of experience in high-tech, display related, OEM, materials, or consumer electronics industry
  • We need prior knowledge of glass technology
