Engineer I & II

Purpose of the Position:

• Upload drawing into system, review spec with customer and team, can use CAD tools for drawing;
• Work with QA/PE for align specs according to drawing.
• Handling the quality issue with customer and quality team.
• Work with technical team to support finisher, support the technical transfer of new product.
• Quick response for customer’s compliance .
• Manage the package of sample and sample shipment.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Review the drawing from customer, understand the demands and can manage customer’s expectation;
• Follow up the spec review progress, chasing up the process move forward fast;
• Record the spec ID and share with team, confirm the spec ID for correct order;
• Deliver solutions to resolve technical issues and escalate to appropriate level if necessary;
• Negotiate with customer for close technical specifications with customers;
• Communicated with customer and understand what’s needed of customer;
• Need to know the knowledge of operate FSM/ASM and upgrade.
• Follow up new material technical transfer to customer, support customer fix issues in field;
• Confirm quality compliance with quality team, verify the quality case and follow up improvement;
• Support team to manage the package which belong to important sample;

Experiences/Education - Required

• Bachelor degree with Material Engineering, Physics, Chemistry. Master is a plus.
• 2 years working experience in Mobile Phone business, glass finishing industry, cover glass cutting/polishing/coating, LCD, Touch Panel, semiconductor business
• Fluent English: CET4 or above
• Dare to face challenge
• Good communication and negotiation skill in both Chinese and English
• Self-motivated, particularly under pressure
• Problem solving skill and analytical skills
