Role Purpose

To support GGS S&T business growing in Asia Pacific, mainly focusing on facilitating innovation projects’ development, integrating overall processes, executing new innovative products. Daily duty includes but not limits to communicate with vendors for parts schedule/production/quality control, facilitate CM for NPI and project arrangement/deployment, align with cross-function team and process optimization, coordinate technology transfer to coating finisher, etc..  

Key Responsibilities

  • Support GGS coating business development.
  • Support new technology deployment.
  • Support new product introduction.
  • Support TT to coating finisher.
  • Provide disciplined project leadership across multiple stages of innovation for new product, process, cost reduction and capacity improvement initiatives.
  • Document and track activities, scope changes and lessons learned.
  • Work with AM, AT, AE, R&D teams.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • MS/BS Degree in Optics, Physics, Optoelectronics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Math, etc.
  • Prefer to have more than 2 years’ vacuum coating and thin film manufacturing experience.
  • Prefer to have more than 2 years’ Project management experience.
  • Prefer to have experience of collaborating with IQC, SQE, FQC.
  • With deep understanding of Vacuum and Thin Film coating industry.
  • Project leading or involvement experience.
  • Broad manufacturing and engineering experiences with new product and project development, deployment,
  • Teamwork personality, ability to collaborate on projects with other team members.
  • Good maneuvering with Excel, PPT, Minitab and other data analyzing tools.

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Team leader experience
  • Experience in working with glass and ceramic.
  • Team facilitation skills when leading efforts with colleagues of various disciplines.
  • Good oral and writing English skill.
  • Experience of working with manufacturing.
  • Experience of troubleshooting and new product’s yield improvement.
  • Knowledge of process control/process discipline, SPC, DOE and Statistics methods.
  • Project management experience.
  • Cross-cultural Sensitivity.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing environment and good team-player.
  • Innovative and high commitment.
