Day to Day Responsibilities:

•    Develop and execute product line strategy to support sales growth, profitability, and long-term portfolio health of the business: 
o    Identify product line priorities and critical initiatives required to deliver annual objectives 
o    Support planning processes including annual product line plans, long-range planning, and budget (Green book and Black book) inputs 
o    Understand and manage key profit and loss drivers for the product line 
o    Build business cases for new product opportunities, special requests, and portfolio decisions, including financial implications and pricing requirements 

•    Translate market and customer insight into action: 
o    Understand downstream market requirements, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to drive product decisions and lifecycle planning 
o    Articulate compelling value propositions, product positioning, and basis of competition 
o    Interpret customer needs and provide key input/decision for capacity planning through forecasting and demand management process 
o    Partner with commercial teams to support segmentation, prioritization, and product-level customer strategy 
 
•    Lead through cross-functional influence: 
o    Work closely with cross-functional partners across Development, Product Engineering, Applications Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Marketing, and Sales 
 
•    Manage the product line through the lifecycle: 
o    Guide the product line through stages of innovation, commercialization, and lifecycle management 
o    Collect voice of customer feedback regarding new products and services and product changes/upgrades 
o    Identify opportunities to reduce complexity, improve margins, and support cost reduction 
o    Lead or support end-of-life and obsolescence decisions to maximize value through the full product lifecycle 
o    Support pricing strategy and related commercial decision-making 
o    Provide product line tools and materials that enable effective execution by customer-facing teams 
 
•    Support strong communication and execution 
o    Create and maintain positioning materials, value proposition content, and other sales tools 
o    Support internal and external communication efforts related to product changes, launches, and product line messaging 
o    Partner with legal and sales teams on supply agreement inputs and product-related commercial terms 
o    Provide clear communication and training on product changes, new offerings, and lifecycle decisions 

Education & Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field 
•    MBA or equivalent advanced degree 
•    5+ years of business, product, strategy, operations, or management experience 
•    Experience working with technical, manufacturing, or engineering teams 
•    Experience in consumer electronics, advanced materials, or other fast-moving, technically complex markets 
•    Experience working across cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes 
•    Experience using analysis and judgment to support strategic or commercial decisions
