Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

 

 

Day to Day responsibility:

• Support strategic talent management process (acquisition, development, planning and recognition/rewards).

• Become a trusted partner of the business clients you support; work across business lines as needed. Develop your own leadership presence; act with integrity and build trust-based relationship with the

   leaders and employees you support

• Identify and take action on any current talent gaps, deploy individual and leadership development programs and tools to build a talent pipeline for operations group; coach leadership in the review process to       identify emerging and changing talent needs

• Coordinate with business leaders to ensure optimization of performance management & rewards systems to support optimal individual and team performance

• Collaborates closely with HR colleagues to implement streamlined HR programs that drive standardization across Taiwan while ensuring business partner needs are met

• Build knowledge on organizational design process and work with HR peers to identify potential organizational design improvements to support our changing business environment and optimal performance

• As needed, support employee relations initiatives & develop policy updates and communication plans in an effective and efficient manner
