Position Description
- Melting process development and engineering. Lead melting activities to achieve business objectives.
- Worldwide manufacturing supports. Provide troubleshooting for operational and performance related issues.
- Melting process optimization portfolio – Technical analysis of melting process application of analytical results to improve processes capability.
- Interface with Technology delivery/ Design group and Plant engineering for trials of new materials, processes, and technologies into manufacturing.
- Develop new technology and process change to improve melting operations. Design and implement process experiments with manufacturing team.
- Lead and support manufacturing capital expansions, startups and equipment repair worldwide as required.
- Support process standardization, documentation, and governance.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- BS degree or above - major in chemical engineering or science.
- Project skill for improvement project and process development experience are plus.
Required Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of thermal process.
- Experiment design and execution.
- Methodology – PCPD, Six Sigma, DMAIC, KT and so on.
- Data analysis experience – Statistical knowledge, data science tool kit is a plus.
Travel Requirements
- Flexible and open for long term WW assignment and 30% travel.
