Purpose of the position:

  • Co-own and manage overall Display rebuild cost reduction program/project
  •  Work closely with cross-functional team, including PMO, Engineering, and Finance to drive rebuild cost reduction workstreams and portfolio management
  •  Provide strategic guidance on capital reduction levers to each workstream and support to identify and resolve roadblocks
  • Support target setting, portfolio management, project prioritization, progress report outs, etc. for each workstream
  •  Work with each workstream owners to facilitate meetings and workshops
  • Provide overall rebuild cost reduction progress report to leadership on regular basis
  • Manage capital cost reduction portfolio for overall DSM capital team
  • Work with each area leaders (Hot-end, Cold-end, and Facility) in DSM capital team to own, develop and maintain capital reduction portfolio(s) for AMC spend reduction, GSM COM, and Capricorn savings
  •  Consolidate savings data from each area to prepare for overall capital team status updates and identify gaps and plans to close the gaps
  •  Support other projects and initiatives
  •  Support capital equipment quality management project working with cross-functional team including PMO, Quality, and Engineering
  •  Support capital equipment single source risk mitigation

 

Criteria for Performance Evaluation :

  • Deliver 10% capital reduction for capital rebuilds over 2021-2024
  • Define meeting cadences and processes for each workstream and track portfolio with accuracy

 

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor degree and above. Major in supply chain, engineering and finance are preferred
  • Over 5 years in strategy, procurement and/or engineering; working experience in project management preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – able to communicate project process to senior leadership and sponsors
