Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Purpose of the Position:

Leads to collaborate with the procurement team for the contract development and management, provide professional knowledge and suggestions on the new-added commercial practices and clauses, contract incompliances and waivers and organize training courses of the contract development and contract management system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the procurement team to identify critical suppliers and materials to enter contract engagement.
• Provide professional knowledge and suggestions on the new-added commercial practices and clauses, contract incompliances and waivers
• Contract validation management
• Host the contract review council meeting
• Contract development process improvement and enhancement.
• Organize training courses of the contract development and contract development system
• Regular reports of the contract management status.
• Project involved with: Contract management system development; Cost risk management

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor degree or above in business and/or engineering field
• 3 to 5 year purchasing experience
• 1 to 2 year contract development and management experience
• Experience as a project leader or a supervisor
• Experience of working in a matrix environment or on a cross-functional team.
