Role Purpose
Managing data, designing reports, and creating analyses to support various functional teams in making critical business decisions
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pricing guidance to account managers in different regions – requiring understand product specification, master pricing configurator, ensure integrity, able to work with team, and communicate with various stakeholders
- Compile, maintain and analyze data from both internal and external sources to derive pricing tactics towards bidding projects
- Manage Pricing and Analytics’ s routine reports (weekly / monthly / quarterly) – including collect data, generate (automate where possible) reports, and distribute to key stakeholders
- Generate and maintain data that capture wins/losses and supply chains; additionally, generate related reports and analyses to support commercial strategic decisions.
- Be responsible to ad-hoc tasks requested by Pricing & Analytics Team, Product Line Managers, and Management Team.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree with major in Business Analytics / Business Intelligence / Data Analytics (or equivalent) from top tier programs
- 5+ years in commercial, business or finance function; ideally in a position requiring data analysis
- Must possess a quantitative approach to analyzing data and solving problems
- Must be inquisitive and open to challenging traditional processes and thinking
- Ability to present technical analysis to senior level stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of cross functional teams
- Competence in programming languages and business intelligence software packages (for e.g.: Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, Python, R)
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
Experiences/Education - Desired
- MBA or Master’s degree in related fields is preferred
- Knowledge about Automotive or Display industry is appreciated
