Position Description:

Manages, retains, and penetrates a key account (Key Account Manager) or multiple large accounts within a specific geographic / industry segment (Senior Account Manager) in a manner that meets the business needs of customer(s), differentiates Corning within the marketplace, and supports the achievement of the division’s sales and profit objectives.

 

Education & Experience Required:          

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 4+ years work experience in technical sales. O
  • 2-4 years work experience as a Sales Account Manager
  • 2+ years Supervisor Experience to lead an account team
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. o Successful completion of an intermediate-level sales training course.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Language skills in customers’ primary geographic location(s).
  • Strong connection with key OEMs and value chain in PC, Display, Smartphone and Touch industry in Taiwan Desired:
  • Master's Degree. o Work experience within the division’s industry.
  • Experience working in more than one country.
  • Work experience in a Commercial function.
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Work experience in a global company.
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing solutions/value selling strategies.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and growing a medium size account through cross-selling and penetration over a 3-year period.
  • Demonstrated track record of working with multiple functions within Corning and/or the customer to close a sale.
  • Demonstrated track record of aligning internal technical and selling resources with the appropriate customer stakeholders.
  • Completion of fundamental training in Finance, IP, and Business Law.
  •  Successful completion of an advanced sales training course.
  • Travel Requirements: (National/International; 0-100%) 20%
