Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.



Purpose of Position: To provide operational and analytical support to manufacturing strategy



  • Support manufacturing strategy activities and all kinds of ad-hoc analysis as required
  • Develop manufacturing strategy process
  • Provide practical solutions to operational issues and communicate with cross-function teams to resolve problems
  • Drive continuous operational improvement in MFG/ENG/Supply Chain by identifying key issues or bottlenecks and constantly refining working processes and tools
  • Provide practical solutions to operational issues and communicate with cross-function teams to resolve problems
  • Conduct analysis of manufacturing improvement areas scenario impacts on Corning financials
  • Regularly interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, Tech deliveries, Commercial, Finance, IT and and Strategy teams in performing of the above duties
  • Generate regular business reports and distribute to key stakeholders



Education: Bachelor's Degree or above


Experience: 2+ years in manufacturing, business or finance function; ideally in a position requiring data analysis
