Role Purpose:

• Coordinating Cross department initiatives and strategy interdependencies within the CGT supply chain department – supply planning, global supply management, logistics, contract manufacturing, operations, capacity management.

• Leverage Corning corporate capabilities, regional presence, initiatives and expertise to enhance CGT supply chain execution.

• Responsible to support strategy supply chain project team and governance in area of : ERP(SAP), Data Warehouse/BI, Planning system and related projects

• Disruptive innovation thinking and support CGT Digital Supply Chain strategy and roadmap

• Project Leadership and management


Key Responsibilities:

• Support to develop strategic plans to drive step improvements in areas of opportunity within the end-to-end supply chain to meet/exceed customer expectations at an optimal profitability.

• Leading strategy project initiatives to drive project success.

• Participating Supply Chain ERP (SAP) Project Team and leading efforts

• Governance Supply Chain data warehouse project implementation and align with Corp. Power BI strategy and rollout.

• Assessment and implementation factory planner system to improve regional planning operation efficiency.

• Outstanding project leadership

• Process and system alignment and integration for End-to-End Supply Chain integration

• Evaluate advanced systems and driving organization digitalization transformation

• Define, track and improve key performance metrics related to supply chain operation.

• Bachelor’s Degree (Technical, Business or Supply Chain).

• 10+ years end-to-end supply chain leadership (Senior level) experience including plant manufacturing, planning, procurement, distribution network, supply chain systems (preferably across a region)

• Global work experience, working across regions and cultures.

• Experience leading global teams, including matrix assignments


• Master’s in Business or Supply Chain Management / Computer Science.

• Supply Chain Certification

• SAP MM / PP / SD Certification

• LEAN or Six Sigma Certification or equivalent experience

• Experience with Corning’s Supply Chain Model (Demand Planning, Sourcing, Supply Planning & Execution, Logistics, Network Planning, and Contract Manufacturing).

• Experience across multiple businesses, division and/or technologies.
