Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.



Purpose of the Position:

  • This role will focus on Precision Glass Solutions (PGS) Customer Service (Order to Cash, Revenue Reporting) with ad-hoc marketing, communication and shipment support.


Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Daily operations of customer service function for OTC process: from order releasing, shipment handling to payment settling;
  • Proactive communication with internal interfaces, including finance, customs affairs, plant supply chain to manage daily shipment from sourcing plant to local customers;
  • Coordinate with account teams to execute account strategies from customer service perspective;
  • Collects customer volume estimates and inputs anticipated purchases into Corning's system to help determine the gross market demand forecast;
  • Provides ad hoc project support and management, when needed (e.g., implementation of new process for placing orders).
  • Provide marcomm related activity support including trade show coordination, public relation events and messaging (20% of time)
  • Provide logistic support for sample shipment and documentation as needed (10% of time)


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or techncal. Semiconductor industry experience is preferred. 


Required Skills:

  • Fluent English, solid business knowledge especially on order management process
