The HR Analyst for the Tarboro site manages all aspects of employee data and analytics in support of Human Resources service delivery processes for the site. This includes managing data entry/editing, position management and reporting/analytics for all core HR data. This role will support the hiring and onboarding process and the planning and compliance to the site’s employee training, as assigned.

Roles Purpose:

  • Manages end-user HRIS, position management, data reporting/analytics and data steward responsibilities
  • Assists in implementation/administration of HR programs / processes / policies establishing and reinforcing Corning Values and positive work environment, while complying with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensures HR programs / processes / policies meet or beat quality and delivery expectations
  • Responsible for assisting the hiring and onboarding processes (paperwork compliance, new hire orientation, etc.)
  • Supports employee training plan compliance (documentation, scheduling, follow ups etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all data steward systems work for the Tarboro location
  • Maintains and ensures confidentiality of time and personnel sensitive materials
  • Monitors and maintains HR data integrity in HR information system
  • Prepares site HR analytics for reporting to site leadership (headcount, diversity, turnover, etc.)
  • Recommends/implements areas for standardization of HR programs / processes / policies, as appropriate, to reduce complexity of administration
  • Educates and supports employees and supervisors on proper use of HR systems for which he/she is responsible
  • Fields HR questions of a general nature, first point of contact
  • Proactively and effectively works with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure excellent HR services delivery to meet business needs
  • Conducts new hire orientation for site; manages scheduling and support of new hires
  • Supports employee training plan to ensure compliance; responsible for scheduling training, documentation and follow ups as needed

Required Skills:

  • Associates Degree with 1 - 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent
  • Advanced Computer Proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HR information system)
  • Experience working in fast-paced work environment (taking initiative, working independently & handling multiple priorities)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • HR service orientation with a strong ability and passion for balancing the needs of the company, business, and our employees.
