Scope of Position

In this role as an intern, you will support supply chain process improvement. Position will work in the areas of planning, inventory control, and distribution of Life Science products. This may include but not be limited to analysis of inventory, lead times, and capacity as well as initiatives to improve those metrics. Duties may also include leading or supporting business process improvements to reduce cost and complexity of the supply chain as well as Project Management (or Assistant Project Management - based on size and scope) of a supply chain project in North America.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • You will utilize sound supply chain skills to analyze capacity, inventory on hand or order promise metrics. Developing theories and potential solutions and recommending those solutions.
  • Use of current supply chain concepts and tools to drive for fundamental understanding.
  • We work in a cross-functional environment: link between supply chain counter-parts, quality, commercial, and manufacturing to deliver the best possible solution
  • Use of rigorous tools to deliver results including problem analysis, potential problem analysis, risk assessment, DMAIC methodology.
  • Intern will work as part of the Global Supply Chain Department with access to planning, scheduling, distribution, process excellence and project management disciplines
  • You will work on solo and team projects which can range from analysis to process improvements in the areas of Planning, Inventory Control, Warehousing, Transportation, and Business Processes.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • We are looking for a Junior or Senior working toward a Bachelor of Science in a Supply Chain discipline or Supply Chain certification or Minor

Requirements

  • We are seeking a capability for analysis

  • Ability to use data to work towards solutions

  • We need a Supply Chain background or related academic knowledge

  • Working knowledge of basic statistics

  • Driven to succeed and implement solutions

  • Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2025 (May-August 2025) with a graduation date of December 2025 or later

​The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly.  Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
