Scope of Position
In this role, you will collaborate with the director of marketing communications to create and implement marketing strategies that effectively promote the Corning Life Sciences family of brands, ensuring alignment with the needs of target audiences such as scientific researchers, biopharma teams, and bioproduction specialists. Additionally, you will manage brand campaigns, oversee influencer partnerships, work closely with creative teams, and analyze market trends to enhance brand equity and foster customer engagement.
This role will support brand oversight by ensuring guidelines remain up-to-date and marketing campaigns align with brand standards.
Additionally, the role will collaborate with an external agency to manage a scientific research-focused brand influencer program aimed at boosting brand awareness and driving sales. Responsibilities include identifying, engaging, and managing influencer partnerships, developing content consistent with brand messaging, and evaluating the performance of influencer campaigns.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the director of marketing communications to develop and implement division brand strategy and related outbound marcom campaigns.
- Work with the director of marketing communications and marketing communications managers to develop and execute brand marcom campaigns, including marketing influencer programs, and synchronization with current marcom campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media and traditional advertising.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, visual identity and overall brand experience by ensuring brand guidelines are followed across all division materials.
- Work closely with the full marcom team and cross-functional internal teams to ensure to ensure brand consistency and alignment across marcom programs, materials, product launches, etc.
- Measure, analyze and report on KPIs for brand and influencer marcom program performance, to evaluate effectiveness and make data driven decisions for future marcom campaign improvements and optimizations.
- Oversee budget allocation and tracking for brand and influencer marcom programs to ensure effective resource utilization.
- Partner with external agency partner to research, identify, collaborate and manage relevant influencers to build partnerships and programs. Once influencers are identified, oversee the creation of engaging and brand appropriate content, successful execution and KPI tracking for influencer marcom campaigns.
- Work with internal legal teams to ensure brand and influencer marcom programs are aligned with Corning compliance.
- Inform and share brand and influencer campaign strategies and materials with CLS marcom counterparts in other regions for regionalization as appropriate. Participate in regular communications with regional teams/contacts as requested.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Brand Marketing and/or Influencer Marketing Communications.
- Experience developing brand strategy, leading the day-to-day tactics and executing on defined strategies.
- Experience analyzing market data, tracking campaign performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Experience communicating brand messaging and strategy with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
- Experience identifying relevant influencers and developing effective social media campaigns.
- Experience negotiating with, and managing, external vendors.
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications.
- Experience in life sciences industry or medical device.
- Experience working with global regional marketing communications teams.

The range for this position is $86,882.00 - $119,464.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
