Job Scope: Corning Life Sciences (CLS) is looking for an individual who is self-motivated, detail oriented, capable in a high pace environment, with a passion to improve customer data management and who is willing to learn long term technical development. The Business Applications Coordinator will work cross functionally, supporting CLS by maintaining the integrity of our CRM, Salesforce.com (+Configure Price Quote or Steelbricks). They will ensure that data held within the CRM meets Corning data standards. They will follow established processes to ensure that SFDC (+CPQ) operates efficiently.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- CRM database maintenance of new and existing records. Ensure that accounts/contacts are correctly set up in SFDC (+CPQ). Check for duplicates, merge, delete and/or re-assign account ownership as required.
- Queue management, contacts, accounts, leads, etc.
- Maintenance of lead assignment rules, liaise with Marcom to ensure the campaigns are using the correct assignment rules
- Maintain Product Line Manager (PLM) records in SalesForce (+CPQ)
- Record transfer, re-assign records when users are deactivated, or new users are enrolled
- Group list views/Create/edit/maintain list views for departments
- Email templates, create, maintain, to request changes for system or department email templates
- Generate communication to our users on any updates/changes via Chatter
- Develop “How to” Documents as it related to SFDC (+CPQ)
- Reports and dashboards/Create and update reports and dashboards as required
- User support - Triage or report issues related to SFDC (+CPQ) and provide training to internal users as needed
- SFDC(+CPQ) projects and enhancements. Provide admin support related to user acceptance testing
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree desired, or Salesforce Admin Essentials ADX201 certificate, or equivalent experience
Required Skills:
- Minimum of three (3) years working with Salesforce.com (power user or admin a plus)
- Experience with Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud) and Marketo Marketing Automation Platform Integration
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in data quality assessment, cleansing, and improvement efforts
- An understanding of technology and systems flow and controls with experience in data analysis or governance
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, particularly in relation to data management
Desired Skills:
- The ability to drive change and improve processes, organization and documentation
- Experience of working and supporting International teams
- Additional data systems skills with industry recognized platforms (Oracle, Microsoft, etc.)
- Experience in creating or maintaining requirements documents, process flows, protocols and decision trees
- Experience in Cross-functional/Cross-Company CRM or ERP projects
- Data profiling or cleansing tool experience (Data.com, Demand Tools Suite, etc.)
- Other CRM application experience (Salesforce.com CPQ, Salesforce.com Communities, etc.)
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work independently and to prioritize work based on business requirements
- Strong work ethic with a confident, enthusiastic, hands-on, can-do attitude
- Sense of urgency and good follow through

The range for this position is $65,046.00 - $89,439.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
