Scope of Position:

Corning Life Sciences Commercial & Business Operations (Sales, Marketing, Sales Support, and Product Management) Rotational Program offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure early in your career to shape your future with Corning. The program is aimed at cultivating new graduates to quickly gain key business experiences through rotations across:

  • Sales
  • Customer Experience
  • Marketing and Market Development
  • Product Line Management

Participants will actively take part in mentoring relationships, experiential learning and development opportunities.


Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Each rotation will vary 8-12 weeks in duration in a total of 12 months period.
  • Rotations are designed to create experience in product design and pricing, product marketing, field sales, scientific and customer support.



  • Up to 25% at end of program rotation for sales focus (8-9 weeks)


Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

  • Standard business hours Monday – Friday.


Required Education:

  • BS/BA Degree in Business or Life Sciences field.


Required Years and Area of Experience:

  • Graduation date of May 2019.


Required Skills:

  • Ability to articulate interest in working in different commercial functions.
  • Flexible and mobile as rotations will take place in Greater Boston Area and at the end of the rotation permanent location will be based on business needs across USA.


Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills:

  • Prior internship or co-op experience in a commercial-related area.
  • Demonstrated leadership in campus clubs/organizations and/or extracurricular activities.
  • Global Experience such as study abroad participation.


Soft Skills:

  • Confident with the ability to maintain a strong professional presence.
  • Highly motivated with good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
