Scope of Position:

We are looking for a driven, creative, and resourceful professional to join the Digital Commerce team. As a Digital Commerce Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the Corning Life Sciences division’s growing ecommerce programs. This includes managing products across their lifecycle from launch to deactivation in our online catalog (SAP Hybris), as well as content syndication to our global distributor network. We look for you to be able to collaborate with the business operations, digital marketing content, scientific support, and Corning IT teams to provide customer support globally. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing of the Hybris enhancements queue and project implementations. You will also support the Digital Commerce Lead in the maintenance and management of our content syndication platform (Salsify). You will respond to internal and external requests for data extracts as well as support larger syndication integration projects.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Digital Content Marketing Team to synchronize Hybris content updates and new product launches
  • Work with CLS Digital Content Marketing team to create SAP Hybris landing pages to support global campaigns.
  • Manage and maintain catalog globally – including search engine optimization (keywords, metadata, tagging) for product content and technical documents
  • Perform proactive site audits
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding the catalog
  • Support the new product launch process with additions and updates to the digital catalog
  • Maintain technical documents related to products
  • Support the Commerce Lead with requests for data maintenance to support dealer demands
  • Participate and sign-off on testing of new functionality in Hybris
  • Communicate with Business Operations and Scientific Support to ensure data completeness and accuracy
  • Work with Digital Commerce Lead to prioritize and execute demand for CLS content syndication
  • Provide backup to Digital Commerce Lead to create templates and formulas using Salsify
  • Liaison for Salsify support requests.

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

  • Standard business hours; Monday – Friday.

 

Required Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, IT /Website or related concentration.

 

Required Years and Area of Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a digital commerce or marketing role.

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong software skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements

 

Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills:

  • Prefer experience within the life sciences industry.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Enterprise Manager or similar WCMS.
  • Familiarity with SAP Hybris or similar PIM platform.
  • Familiarity with Salsify PXM or similar content syndication platform.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian Confluence and Jira.
  • SEO Optimization skills are a plus.
