Background CLS Supply Chain Planning is looking for a curious problem solver with data and systems acumen to support our Demand Planning team. The role will be focused on supporting & leading SAP IBP performance & enhancements to drive process improvements and system efficiencies in collaboration with Global and Regional team of Demand Planners and stakeholders and all related master data integrity processes. In addition, the role will also require collaborating with Data Analytics and AI strategy and Product Mgt teams for continuous improvement and enabling an efficient Demand Planning step as part of the larger Sales, Inventory, Optimization Planning (SIOP)
Job Responsibilities:
- Continuously works to streamline processes, develop data tools, enhance reporting, and drive improvements for Supply Chain efficiencies.
- Hybrid setting (3 days in office, 2 days from home)
- Drive annual Product (ABC/XYZ) and Customer (MVC/Most Valued Customers and KA/Key Accounts) segmentation processes within SAP IBP and align with key stakeholders on process steps and timely completion of deliverables and additional tools required to support execution.
- Develop subject matter expertise in planning software (SAP IBP DP module) with ownership of configuration in coordination with IT and other IBP modules (Inventory Optimization/IO and Supply Planning)
- Lead Master Data integrity – exceptions, alerts, addressing gaps and improvements; in collaboration with key stakeholders– Data stewards, NPI specialists, Order Management/Customer care etc
- Stay informed on SAP IBP releases and lead enhancements to leverage new capabilities where of benefit to the CLS planning process.
- Work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. Interpret requirements to improve system capabilities to support evolving processes and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, cross-functional teams, and executive leadership as required.
- Communication and overseeing training programs for functional and super users of the planning systems as the primary IBP DP and Master data lead.
- Understanding of data integrations and critical incoming and outgoing touchpoints to the IBP system.
- Serve as supply chain systems insight provider through formal projects as well as adhoc requests.
- Support implementation of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) standard processes Globally to achieve required forecast accuracy and critical metrics for the Business unit and stakeholders.
- Establish regional IBP processes with focus on exceptions management for demand management (statistical forecasting and alerts)
- Learn & stay current on analytics developments in Demand Forecasting. Align and support Divisional initiatives to drive continuous improvement through advanced tools (AI/ML).
Requirements:
- Knowledge and at least 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain systems (SAP IBP a plus): forecasting, planning, inventory management, warehousing and distribution. Data analytics background is a plus.
- BA Degree required (Data Analytics, Buisness, Life Science)
- Knowledge of forecast principles (APICS or IBF certification preferred) and some application of principles. Understanding of customers, sales & distribution channels. Conceptual understanding of other planning tools and how the Demand Management tools interact.
- Familiarity with ERP systems – PeopleSoft, Order Management & business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Understanding of system interfaces, master data integration with planning systems Soft
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and comfortable asking questions when problems are not well defined.
- Self-motivated to learn new tools and techniques.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Results oriented, detailed oriented, rigorous, forward looking.
- Strong technical skills utilizing MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, V-lookup)
- Requires minimal supervision

The range for this position is $82,207.00 - $113,035.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
