Scope of Role:

Reporting directly to the Division Supplier Quality Manager, this position will support an ISO-compliant Quality management system, driving compliance to QMS processes and continual improvement actions. Assess and report supplier quality system performance to appropriate management for review/action as needed. Success in this role also requires an ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external counterparts, possess effective interpersonal, strong verbal and written communications skills, and a collaborative spirit and the ability to think creatively to influence and drive continuous improvement efforts. This person must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and ability to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities

 

Description of Work:

  • Assist in the development of standardized status and reporting dashboards for supplier quality metrics as required from the Quality Management team
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining supplier qualification files, supplier specific requirements, and the Master Supplier Tracking Sheet.
  • Collect and perform trend analysis for KPIs for supplier quality operations
  • Administrative owner of department file shares, SharePoint sites, and Box shares
  • Prepares supplier quality performance reports at regular intervals
  • Support Division/customer/3rd party audits of CLS sites as required
  • Coordinate supplier assessments and assist building evaluation models for decisioning
  • Identify issues and risks to the supplier management program, and procurement functions within CLS
  • Build, coordinate, and contribute to training curriculum for suppler quality processes(s)
  • Communicate status showing progress towards defined goals and tasks, as well as to highlight discovered opportunities and next steps on key processes
  • Assists in the continuous evaluation of the quality system for compliance to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 and internal processes/policies.
  • Prepares supplier quality performance, and plant compliance reports at regular intervals
  • Analyze data to support quality engineering projects
  • Recommend changes in methods or procedures and assist with development of new or revised policies related to usage.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or some college.

 

Required Experience:

  • 3 years experience as Business Analyst in a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with ability to facilitate/articulate recommendations and key decision points to management.
  • Excellent Outlook skills & MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); solid understanding of computer software including SharePoint and Box
  • Must be action oriented, capable of making informed decisions, be self-motivated, capable of influencing without authority
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize
  • Data-based decision-making skills with the ability to use this data in actively finding solutions
  • Ability to work among a diverse group of individuals

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of ISO standardized quality management systems
  • Fundamental understanding of Power BI
