Business Transformation Support
- Document system architecture, data dictionaries, and data standards for MES, Quality, Planning, ERP, and CRM
- Follow governance and standards for declared data assets
- Collaborate with Compliance team to understand how compliance impacts data across Advanced Optics
- Work with the business process team to jointly develop process checks to ensure data quality
- Develop business related reports and dashboards
- Utilize Databricks and SQL to gather and review data for inventory management and develop forecasting to diminish excess inventory
- Achieve inventory reduction goals for inventory levels by developing tracking tools, understanding general managers' needs and wants, and identifying potential reduction opportunities by businesses
ERP Migration Support
- Support the data migration effort to migrate data from several legacy applications, Peoplesoft, and legacy SAP environments to new SAP implementation.
- Work with SAP Global template team to identify system requirements and gaps for pricing, customer, and product master data
- Build consensus and drive global standardization and best practices when applicable
- Aid in troubleshooting data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
- Develop needed reports to support operations and management migration to SAP
Required Skills:
- PowerBI, SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Databricks, Data Preprocessing, Data Visualization, Business Intelligence and Reporting
- Serve as an Analytics Translator for multiple business functions by understanding the business need and determining how analytics can help projects achieve their goals
- Ability to communicate the outcome of complex and/or technical concepts in a clear manner to a non-analytical group and take on challenges specific to analyzing disparate data sources
- Ability to think beyond the spreadsheet
- Ability to provide a consolidated view of data for analysis and decision-making purposes
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to understand the landscape/processes
- Ability to exercise independent judgement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Deadline oriented with the ability to manage time in accomplishing complex tasks
- Programming and software development experience required to coordinate the activities of coding personnel
- Strong communication, cross cultural and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with ETL tools for data extraction, data cleansing, and data manipulation
- STATA, Pandas, NumPy, Python
- Familiarity with big data ecosystem (Spark, Hadoop, HIVE, etc.) and cloud-based storage and compute environments (AWS, MS Azure)

The range for this position is $63,000.00 - $86,625.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
