Position is in the Process Engineering Group within Vineland Plant Engineering. The group supports Cold End Operations, Processes, and Equipment including hot glass tubing conveying, handling, and packaging systems. This position supports day-to-day operations and production, project receivership and project initiation and deployment. Equipment systems address the processing and handling of glass tubes received from Melting/Forming operations. The primary scope of the position is outlined below. 


Scope of Position: 
Address equipment gaps to maximize glass yields, minimize costs, and minimize safety hazards. Deploy solutions that maximize standardization, user-ease, and overall increased efficiencies Partner with Maintenance and Production personnel to obtain voice of customer and deploy solutions that consider skill, and overall existing infrastructure (spares, equipment designs and manufacturers) Maximize preventive maintenance performance Execute design changes and modifications to include spares, documentation, training, etc. Effectively take action when non-conformances are found Document processes and create job aides 


Day to Day Responsibilities: 
•    Work with Design and Equipment Management to ensure proper parts are ordered for rebuilds 
•    Proactively manage and track equipment uptime. 
•    Positively impact OEE inputs 
•    Ability to work across various functional groups on a daily basis to accomplish goals 
•    Actively participate in TPM planning and execution including work request entry, part identification, and job plan creation 
•    Actively contribute to various teams that identify and implement process improvements 
•    Aid in troubleshooting major mechanical machinery and system issues
•    Provide technical resolution to existing machinery and equipment in the form of design or redesign down to the component level 


<10% travel, including international, required for this position 


Qualifications Education and Experience: 
BS in Engineering or higher (Mechanical desired) 
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering and/or Quality 


Required Skills: 
Project management experience 
Solid communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) 
Excellent organizational skills MS Office with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
