Corning is seeking a Legal assistant/ Paralegal to join our EMEA Law Department. You will sit in our friendly team and have exposure to large projects across Europe.





  • Provide commercial legal support to both Corning’s EMEA Law Department, and directly to the divisions that the EMEA Law Department provides legal services to (e.g. review of procurement related contracts and amendments, Non-Disclosure Agreements and other supply or sales agreements based in internal standards).
  • Provide Corporate entity support (e.g. board resolutions, documents for annual accounts approval and other corporate entity related documents).
  • Update several internal databases (e.g. excel lists, SharePoint based databases as well as other company specific databases).
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams or departments (e.g. coordination with the finance department/procurement Department) or external law firms.




  • Bachelor’s degree in law or similar law degree from EU country, with professional experience gained in a law firm or in-house
  • English fluent; German, Polish, French, or other additional language skills also welcome
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and adapt as necessary in a fast-paced environment,
  • Precise, structured, and proactive way of working
  • Experienced handling of MS Office applications (incl. Word, PowerPoint, Excel), database systems
  • Ability to interact with a diverse population to ascertain information, relay information, resolve conflict, establish rapport, remain courteous, influence decisions, clarify capabilities and propose solutions
  • Attention to detail and passion to work in an international environment.


Flexible working policy: 3 days office based, 2 days optional home office

Fixed Term Contract for 1 year

Berlin Office is located 5 mins from Potsdamer Platz

Start date July 1st 2022.
