  • You will drive new and incremental sales growth in the Corning Bioprocess Portfolio in France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Italy and other South European countries.
  • You will be responsible for protecting and defending the existing Bioprocess business in the territory defined above as well as executing the Bioprocess strategy as defined by the Commercial Board
  • You will be expected to achieve and exceed sales targets by developing a strong incremental portfolio and crafting new relationships with customers.
  • Based on quality compliance, profitability and differentiation you will execute on business development with a deep understanding of all regulations to develop a partnership approach
  • You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Commercial Teams and Product Line Managers both within Europe and the US. Requirements


  • You bring a strong scientific and technical background (Masters, Engineers, or PhD or equivalent by experience) with 5-10 years’ work experience in a Sales Specialist role
  • You know the Cell and Gene Therapy market flawlessly
  • Your confirmed ability to sell complex and differentiated technology platforms to the pharmaceutical and biotech markets will help you to achieve your targets (a working knowledge of Corning technology would be effective)
  • You sell effectively to a diverse customer base including teams of scientists, engineers, and other highly technical team members we collaborate/might collaborate with
  • You drive the Bioprocess strategies execution at Strategic Accounts at short, mid and long term
  • You bring a deep understanding of the Bioprocess workflow and how to position differentiated products
  • You lead and prioritize multiple customer projects concurrently
  • You have a good level of knowledge regarding all Pharma European regulations
  • Basic financial and business insight
  • You are data driven with ability to analyse and assess market trends and regional trends
  • Fluency in both German and English languages (other languages desirable, Spanish/Italian)
  • Travel as necessary (60%)
