Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Execute operating plan to achieve team objectives.
• Certified with facility emergency response requirements and perform as required.
• Conduct day to day patrol and standard operating setpoint compliance with procedures.
• To be emergency response member to react Facility emergency response in case of system failure.
• Build effective relations with plant cross functions.
• Implements and documents material, process and/or equipment changes (Follow Process Control and Process Discipline).
• Cooperate with engineer to complete daily maintenance work and all tasks assigned from supervisor.
• Executes documented operating procedures and follows established document control protocols.
• Implement annual training and certification plans.
• Implement preventive maintenance /Predictive Maintenance /Condition Based Maintenance activities to achieve facility maintenance performance.
• Initiate improvement case by plant side activity.
• Execute department wide activities to improve department performance.
• Improve 5S/ Process Control and Process Discipline /Safety/ Intellectual Asset Property implementation.
• Executes the protection of Corning’s Intellectual Asset Property.
• Work with team to build a safety, learning organization and positive and proactive culture.

Education & Experience  

• Graduated from college or above with electrical background.
• Three years or above experience in facility equipment maintenance and operation.

Required Skills                                                

• Familiar with the operation principle of electrical system.
• Computer: Excel, Word, power point.
• Basic skill on repair mechanical components.
