Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Equipment down time analysis and improvement
• Daily troubleshooting and improvement to maximize equipment up-time.
• Perform the weekly and quarterly preventive maintenance system within the prescribed guidelines and maintain appropriate records.
• Develops and maintains records for equipment down time and parts replacement.
• Schedule and execute the (weekly/Monthly/quarterly) Predictive maintenance, PM.
• Perform spare parts management and in-coming quality control work.
• Conduct the technician cross training and the newcomer-in technician training.
• Conduct the PM training and certification for operators.
• Develops initiates and monitors departmental budget, forecasts, SOP’S, ISO and TPM-5S system for department.
• Support & initiate shop floor equipment & tools improvement
• Assist shop floor’s routine jobs.

Project involved with: 

• Support Wuhan plant project activity and in charge of Wuhan Plant daily operation after project delivery .
• Repair project involvement.

Education & Experience  

• Education: College degree in Mechanical or related engineering                 
• Experience: 3 yrs. in Equipment maintenance

Required Skills                                                

• Equipment installation and maintenance experience. 
• Understand equipment basic design, operation, and maintenance knowledge.
• Servo Motor, inverter maintenance and replacement. 
• Data acquisitions systems and sensors for monitoring temperature, force, voltage, current, etc
• Low-level programming languages
• Understand of basic electronic control systems, feedback circuits and ladder diagrams.
• Understand Maintenance PM Principles and Customer Focus. 
• Pneumatic system maintenance experience, like air cylinder 
• LOTO understanding/practice and execution.
• Experience in Robot Application (Fanuc robot)
• Knowledge of pneumatics, PLC, PC control
• Maintenance experience of automated equipment 
• Results oriented, Schedule control, Improvement, well communication.

Desired Skills  

• Familiar with Mitsubishi PLC (Q-series CPU), HMI (GOT series) application.
• Familiar with equipment control system maintenance.
• Familiar with electrical control component application, such like Inverter, Servo Motor, Sensor, signal translator, etc.
• FANUC Robot Operate and Maintain Skill is plus.
• 低压or 高压电工本 is plus

Soft Skills                                                

• Good presentation and reporting skill.
• Familiar with equipment control system maintenance.
• Strong ownership of achieving plant goal 
• Skill in Excel, Office, power point, database.
• Creative and with strong continuous improvement work characteristic
• Work independently by him/herself and work well within team group.
