Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define G10.5 regional D^t goals based on priority and division framework, synergizes resources to achieve optimal compatibility
  • Overview and manage the D^t talent inventory with strong digital domain knowledge and lead the development of a roadmap for skill enhancement.
  • Accelerate the migration of division solutions to new digital platforms.
  • Track regional projects, assess their business impacts, and provide support for in-region migration. Implement governance strategies to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Oversee the deployment of new and advanced digital solutions.
  • Extend the reach of digital applications across the region.
     

Competency Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of digital transformation and its impact on manufacturing processes and outcomes.
  • Knowledges and experience of M4.0 development and have the overall picture of how to achieve it by stages. Strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to synergize resources and foster collaboration.
  • Proficiency in model management and data analytics.
  • Mature code standardization and modulization skills.
     

Education and Working Experiences:

•    Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, data sciences). Advanced degree preferred.
•    Minimum of 10 years of experience in Digital, IoT, Control, and Software Engineering.
•    Proven experiences in managing M4.0 frameworks 
•    Experience in strategic planning and execution.
•    Solid background in deploying training programs and developing talent.
•    Experience in resource management and governance.
