Within the Process Engineering team of the Process Research, Development & Engineering organization at our Fontainebleau site, and in close collaboration with the Engineering Department of Corning’s Bagneaux-sur-Loing plant, we are looking for a Development Engineer – Process Industrialization,

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of development projects conducted between the Corning European Technology Center and the Corning Bagneaux-sur-Loing plant, you will contribute to the development and industrialization of innovative processes.

 

Your mission will be carried out jointly with the manufacturing plant to provide industrialization support to the plant engineering teams

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

•Developing an in-depth understanding of processes currently under development.
•Acting as the key interface between the manufacturing plant and the Technology Center.
•Conducting studies and analyses to support the evolution of equipment and processes, as well as evaluating process suitability for opportunities identified for the plant.
•Leading and contributing to the resolution of technical issues.
•Defining the criteria for transferring equipment and processes under development into production.
•Liaising with the Group’s RD&E (Research, Development & Engineering) divisions,

PROFILE

We are looking for high-potential candidates, preferably graduates of leading engineering schools, with at least 3 years of experience in industrial R&D. Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills

•Familiarity with problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.
•Strong interest in technical challenges.

•Leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a matrix organization.
