IT Business Analyst
What is your role?
As an IT Business Analyst – Manufacturing Applications, you will serve as the key connection between business stakeholders and IT teams to support manufacturing and enterprise applications. In this role, you will gather and translate business needs into clear requirements, help prioritize initiatives, and support solution evaluation across multiple plants and countries. You will work closely with Plant IT Managers, Power Users, Solution Architects, IT Development Supervisors, and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business goals and operational needs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys process analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and driving value in a global manufacturing environment.
Major responsibilities and tasks of the position:
· Partner with business stakeholders, Power Users, and Plant IT Managers to understand processes, identify opportunities, and define clear business and functional requirements
· Analyze current processes, document workflows, and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, standardization, and business value
· Support solution assessment, backlog management, and prioritization by providing business context, documenting impact, and ensuring requests follow defined governance processes
· Coordinate UAT and cross-functional communication to validate delivered solutions, track gaps or defects, and maintain clear project documentation and status updates
What do you need to have?
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
· 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, process analysis, application support, or a related IT/business role
· 2–4 years of experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes
· Experience working with cross-functional teams in a structured IT environment
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
· Experience working in manufacturing, industrial operations, or multi-site environments
· Ability to manage multiple priorities, facilitate business discussions, and work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
