Recruiting Consultant


  1. Purpose of Position.   

Supporting business expansion of Corning in Mexico, this position will work very close with other Recruiting Consultants Coordinating key TA strategies and partnerships to include, but not limited to recruiting activities mainly with universities and Hiring events , professional associations, diversity recruitment conferences, industry networking, This position will also participate in the coordination support of the Corning Employees Recrtuiers for TA activies such as scheduling interviews, and candidate documentation required by the region   


  1. Mention the major responsibilities and tasks of the position.


  • Develop knowledge / building skills in functions / specialties. Build toward operating at as a SME on various external talent markets for specific professional discipline(s)
  • Implement key strategies and partnerships to include, but not limited to professional associations, diversity recruitment conferences, community outreach programs and events, industry networking events and associations, etc.
  • Enhance the organization’s understanding of various function spaces through research and synthesis of knowledge acquired, staying current on market trends.
  • Proactively educate recruitment partners and hiring leaders.
  • Monitor continuous improvement through measures of success analytics and report them on a regular basis
  • Collect and frame-up external talent market data to enable partners to inform and influence decisions
  • Constantly collaborate with Recruiters to proactively inform on progress of sourcing strategy
  • Ensure the Talent Acquisition strategy is successfully executed to meet department goals
  • Support the RPO to meet staffing plans
  • Participates in ad hoc projects and initiatives
  • Network closely within the business and specialized functional areas to create sourcing strategies in order to bring the right talent
  • Acts as consultant in regard the Talent Acquisition processes
  • Ensure continuity of employer branding
  • Recruiting activities (if required)

Development of staffing strategies that support business needs.

6.    Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.


A. Education.

Bachelor’s degree (Human Resources or similar). Master’s Degree (desired).                                                                                   

B. Work Experience.

More than 1 - 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources

C. Additional Skills.

  • Full English proficiency
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Troubleshooting
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Experience in consulting and/or working in a consultative role where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm


7. Extraordinary Activities.

National travel required for hiring events.
