Nuestro segmento de comunicaciones ópticas acaba de evolucionar de ser un fabricante de fibra óptica y cable, hardware y equipos para convertirse en un proveedor integral de soluciones ópticas líder en la industria, abarcando la industria de comunicaciones más amplia. Este segmento se clasifica en dos grupos de productos principales: red de operador y red empresarial. El grupo de productos de red de portador consta principalmente de productos y soluciones para infraestructuras de comunicaciones de fibra óptica para servicios como comunicaciones de video, datos y voz. El grupo de productos de red empresarial consta principalmente de redes de comunicación por fibra óptica dirigidas a negocios, gobiernos y personas para uso propio.

Process Engineer

Purpose of Position & Mention the major responsibilities and tasks of the position.

The Process Engineer is Direct responsible to establish engineering process and procedures to promote an efficient operation, support the selection of equipment and provide process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost.

 

  • Maintain a close surveillance over the area operation through perusal of reports, observations and personal contact to assure conformance to assure established process and procedures.
  • Audit local documents to ensure alignment with global standards
  • Coordinate and participate in action plans for process disciplines within different areas.
  • Oversee installation and initial use of new equipment to insure proper documentation, use, operation and integration into department.
  • Direct technical, clerical and hourly departmental employees as required for the efficient and timely completion of tacks projects and assignments.
  • Make regular visits to Gemba to monitor process execution and provide feedback on process status to operations for daily production meetings
  • Identify non-conformances and opportunities for improvement, provide feedback to operations on areas for improvement
  • Analyze and resolve technical problems, develop specifications, formulate plans, estimates and other required engineering data and effectively recommend same for approval to the Engineering Supervisor in accordance with sound Engineering principles and theory.
  • Quickly respond to production issues using troubleshooting guides or methodology
  • Be accountable for the timely completion projects
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors; exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • To be assigned and trained to a CSC Discipline and will function as Tier 1 (SME) being responsible for sustaining, and elevate Quality level by applying Centralization, Standardization and Control.

 

Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.

  • BS Degree is required in one of the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 3 year in similar position or manufacturing environment is required
  • Leadership Skills                       
  • Fluent English
  • Green Belt Certification
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis (MSA, DOE, Sampling size, GR&R, etc.)
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge
  • Project Management skills
  • Leadership potential demonstrated on project teams responsible for implementation of new processes or equipment into manufacturing
  • Demonstrate PC skills using software packages (Microsoft Office, Mini-Tab, CAD Design Software, Visual Basic, C++.)

 

Preference:

  • Experience with data interpretation
  • Fundamental Understanding of mechanical design software’s as SolidWorks, CreO Parametric, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation/control (e.g. sensors, actuators) and vision systems technologies
  • Knowledge of machinery safety and ergonomic requirements

  • Basic Knowledge and Application of GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
