Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
 

 

 

 

Purpose of the Position:

• To optimizes the customer experience by ensuring timely and high-quality execution of customer orders and responses to customer issues and request.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Accurately executes order specifications in Corning’s and customer’s order system; ensures proper pricing, payment, quotes and shipping/ transportation terms; and ensures orders are in accordance with Corning’s standard terms and conditions.

• Participate demand and supply meetings and give presentation as needed

• Coordinates order shipping and transportation and keeps customers informed of any delays or issues, as needed

• Initiate rebate process based on the quotation and make adjustments for the difference of actual and accruals

• Follows up with the customers on accounts receivable in a timely manner

• Manage retuned material by coordinating with logistic, planning and customers; monitor its returned status and justify customer’s production and input plan to prevent any supply risk

• Provide immediate action on all customers complaints received and propose compliant resolution by working with accounting, manufacturing and other commercial roles as needed

• Collaborate with plants and AE for quality issue handling and glass inquiry

• Develop strong relationship with customers and contact channels for the instant information

• Communicates regularly with Account Managers to share customer-related information and issue to assist in business growth and customer satisfaction maintenance

 

Requirement: 
• 2-7 yrs working experience.
• Business or technical degree
• Prefer if previously SemiCon experience
• Fluent English, Basic Business Knowledge especially on order management process
