Purpose of the Position:

To increase our sales revenue, strengthen our position for both full sheet and parts business in China based PM/TPM (Panel/Maker/Touch Panel Maker) customers;

Day to Day Responsibilities: 

To manage the Gorilla Glass and parts business to meet annual sales budget at Key PM/TPM accounts. 

Develop PM/TPM strategy and execution plan including but not limit to: o Develop, maintain and improve multi-level and multi-function customer relations.

o Maxima Gorilla Glass share (including FS & Parts business) by actively working with cross function team (OEM, ODM, Application Engineer, Quality, operation, supply chain and Production Line) through various tools.

o Identify key program status and develop the strategy to design in Gorilla Glass.

o Close work with external and internal team to avoid COS issue.

o Collect and report market information including competitive intelligence. 

Provide commercial support to other regions whose supply chain falls into assigned PM/TPM accounts.

New Projects/product deployment at PM/TPM

Reporting Structure: 

Immediate Supervisor: Patrick Fu, Sr. Manager, ODM/TPM/PM Sales, Gorilla Glass Direct reports:  N/A

Education & Experience

• Bachelor degree with Science or Engineering;

• 5+ years working commercial experience with 3+ years in electronics industry such as LCD/Touch Panel/Cover Glass/Mobile Phone business.

• With technical sales or application engineer experience is plus.

Required Skills

• Consistent track record in PM/TPM customer management and familiar with ECO system.

• Ability to quickly build knowledge of Gorilla products, manufacturing, commercial, and technical processes.

• Pro-active in anticipating customer’s needs and detail-oriented

• Self-starter. Confidence in public speaking, direct customer interaction, and leading cross functional teams

• Good social skills. Ability to interact effectively with multiple external & internal functional areas

• Ability to leverage past learning’s and business judgment to question/challenge/defend assumptions

• Bi-lingual fluency in Chinese Mandarin and English.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of PM/TPM business development & process improvement.

• Knowledge of Gorilla products, manufacturing, and measurements

• Commercial experience within the glass and/or consumer electronics industry

• Proven ability to lead complex projects to successful completion

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills in both Chinese and English (Writing and speaking). Korean is plus.

• Proven business acumen

• Strong emotional intelligence.

• Comfortable working with all levels of management both internally and externally, and with different regions and functions

• Highly regarded for integrity, ethics, flexibility, teamwork, professional excellence and multi-cultural interpersonal. Ability to set the tone for the organization. High degree of personal credibility and accountability
