Environmental Engineer

Job Description:

1.Development and Implementation of Environmental Management Systems:
   Develop and implement the company's environmental protection management systems to ensure compliance with national and local environmental laws and regulations.
   Responsible for writing and updating environmental management manuals and operating procedures, ensuring the effective implementation of all environmental protection measures.
   Regularly review and improve environmental policies, updating them according to the latest regulations and standards.
2.Environmental Monitoring and Assessment:
   Organize and conduct internal environmental monitoring, covering aspects such as air, water quality, noise, and soil.
   Conduct regular environmental impact assessments, writing environmental impact reports to ensure the company's operations meet environmental standards.
   Analyze monitoring data, identify potential environmental issues and risks, and propose improvement suggestions.
3.Pollution Prevention and Control:
   Design and implement pollution prevention plans, including wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and solid waste management.
   Promote internal energy-saving and emission-reduction projects, enhancing resource efficiency.
   Assist the company in handling environmental protection-related issues, providing technical support and solutions to ensure compliance with pollutant discharge standards.
4.Environmental Training and Promotion:
   Organize environmental protection training for employees to enhance their environmental awareness and skills.
   Conduct environmental protection promotion activities, disseminating environmental knowledge and fostering a strong corporate environmental culture.
   Prepare and distribute environmental training materials and promotional booklets, regularly updating them.
5.Environmental Report Writing:
   Write and submit various environmental management reports, monitoring reports, and assessment reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
   Prepare and maintain environmental management files and records, ensuring the completeness and traceability of all environmental data.
   Regularly report environmental work progress and results to management, providing decision-making support.
6.Coordination with Government and Third Parties:
   Maintain communication with government environmental protection departments and third-party organizations to ensure the company's compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
   Cooperate with environmental protection departments during inspections and audits, promptly implementing corrective measures and following up on their effectiveness.
   Participate in government-organized environmental protection meetings and activities, actively providing feedback and suggestions on behalf of the company.

Educational Background & Work Experience:

1.Bachelor's degree or above in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

2.Over 3 years of experience as an Environmental Engineer, with experience in manufacturing or chemical industries preferred.

Professional Knowledge & Certification Requirements

1.Professional Knowledge:
   Familiarity with Taiwan's environmental protection laws, regulations, and standards, and the ability to stay updated on the latest regulatory developments.
   Understanding of the operations of Taiwan's environmental protection authorities, with the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with relevant departments.
   In-depth knowledge of environmental monitoring, pollution control, and environmental assessment, with the ability to develop and implement related plans.
   Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety management systems such as ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), ISO 14064 (Greenhouse Gas Management System), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
2.Language Skills:
   Proficiency in English, capable of writing English reports and communicating with the environmental management team at the headquarters.
   Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly convey environmental policies and requirements.
3.Certification Requirements:
   Must have environmental-related certifications.
   Having safety-related certifications is a plus.
