Senior Quality Control Engineer

Purpose of the Position:
As a product quality control engineer to manage Finishing Goods quality by inspection, statistical data analysis and process data mining. Build up Quality Control and sampling plan to fulfill customers requirement and conducting continuous improvement project with Operation/Engineering/Commercial Technology.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Develop QA/QC and metrology in new attributes by working with CT and IMT, and create procedures that meet quality standards.
• Lead Quality Control optimization based on external/internal quality issue learnings and digital transformation opportunities, and set standardization across plants in China and Taiwan regions.
• Sustain the transparency between Division guidelines and plants’ execution through managing SOPs, and monitor plants’ real practice.
• Host OQA benchmarking platform with all CDT plants to align QC rules, review changes, and conduct risk assessment, as well as conduct good practice sharing.
• Collaborate with Plant Engineering teams, Operation teams, Plant QAs to ensure quality control processes are effective and efficient, as well as build in a standard practice in Division wide.
• Lead Division Quality projects working with cross functions among division wide and manufacturing group.
• Lead Inspection Judgment criteria standardization across plants among China and Taiwan region, including classification rule, specification and measurement.
• Validate new inspection solution and system thru. statistical analysis.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree above
• Major in Engineering, IE, statistics, or related field
• Three years or above experiences in QA/Engineering is preferred

• Fluent English in speaking, writing and reading (TOEIC >550)

Desired Skills:

• Well computer skill in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI.
• Statistic tool: Minitab/ SPC XL… etc.
• Coding skill is plus, including R, Python, SQL, VBA, Java/C#... etc.

• Meeting facilitation skill.
• Continuous learning to new tools, techniques, and procedures related to quality control.
