Role Purpose
•Deliver customer new-new technology roadmap in both display and non-display field especially at research stage and development stage through value chain engagement, expo demo, seminar, 3rd party reports and internal resources
•Lead assigned tech. assessment reports (involving cross accounts, MAPs and value chain)
•Understand CDTT customer new-new tech. focus/status and connect with internal resources(e.g. CT, DI, NBD and MAPs) for assessing joint collaboration opportunities
•Propose collaboration opportunities and technical resources for customer engagement by account team
•Execute assigned new tech. projects (involving cross accounts, MAPs and value chain)
•Manage customer new tech projects process and provide resources
•Conduct trainings with assigned new tech. to enhance knowledge for the entire team
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
•Develop and expand external value chain networks for both display and non-display technologies to gain market insights and a deep understanding of technology needs.
•Collaborate with Account TEs to gather information on customers' emerging technologies and identify opportunities for proposing joint projects.
•Manage the technology database and internal resources to support the account team in customer engagement and collaboration.
•Create and implement training plans to enhance the domain knowledge of Account TEs, focusing on developing technologies in both display and non-display areas.
•Support and connect internal resources to Account TEs for project initiation and execution with customers, aiming to maximize customer value.
•Analyze and summarize technology information to provide recommendations to commercial leadership.
•Lead assigned technology assessments and report findings.
•Coordinate cross-account team technology events.
•Perform tasks and missions as assigned by supervisors.
Education and Experiences
•A Bachelor's degree or higher in Science or Engineering.
•Experience in project management, business development, or marketing is a plus.
•A proven track record in technology/marketing research or business development.
Required Skills
•Strong business and technological acumen, coupled with a proactive, can-do attitude.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish relationships quickly.
•Familiarity with research on new technologies and engagement in the value chain.
•Keen awareness of the industry landscape, market intelligence, and the latest industry trends.
•An eager learner with a growth mindset, target-oriented, and passionate about new technologies.
•Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively across diverse skill sets, including strategic, technical, and sales.
•Strong presentation and writing skills to communicate effectively with all relevant participants and stakeholders, both external and internal.
